Annapurna Region Trekking

Annapurna trekking has become one of the most popular treks in the world. It has the best network of Teahouse / Lodge facilities available which make it easier to organize trekking / hiking tours, as well it is possible to make a short and easy or long and difficult trekking itinerary to suit trekker's needs.

If you are really interested in doing some super trekking around Annapurna you can choose tent camp / camping trekking, which in many ways is superior to Teahouse treks as our agency provides excellent camp staff and fresh meals during the trek that will be sure to make your trekking in Annapurna a truly unforgettable experience. Even though while trekking in the Annapurna region you are not guaranteed great meals in teahouses, most trekkers choose them as they fit their holiday budgets.

Of course most trekkers enjoy their trekking experience in teahouses. Trekking agencies research and analyze new trekking routes in Annapurna to promote and provide new attractions for tourists. As a result, the Nepal Government recently opened the Nar Phu Valley to Trekkers, where hundreds of Trekkers had already been visiting this area. Thakalis, Gurung, Magar, and Manangis are the main people found living along the Annapurna trekking trails. Subtropical to alpine vegetation and climates are found changing with the elevation with cold winds from the Tibetan plateau rushing through the south. Trekking in this region allows trekkers venture through rhododendron forests over the foothills of the Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri and through the deepest gorge in the world, the kali Gandaki Gorge.

Thorung La Pass / Annapurna circuit, Tilicho lake, Jomsom Muktinath, Ghorepani, Annapurna Base camp, and Ghandrung are some of the famous trekking routes of this region, which is lies in the western part of Nepal.
