Gokyo Trek
 Gokyo Lake Trek is an alternative trek to the traditional Everest Base Camp trek. This trek only offers the beautiful views of the mountain peaks and the (ngozumpa glacier in the Nepal Himalayas) but also provides an ample opportunity to see never eye –blinking view of the Mt. Everest. We can take a soaring view of the most popular mountains at the altitude of 8,000m such as Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt. Everest, Mt Lhotse and Mt. Makalu which can clearly be seen from Gokyo Ri (5350m) just above the Gokyo Lade. Less frequented than the Everest Base Camp route, the trek Provides some adventurous high altitude trekking and a visit to the second largest glacier in the world(ie. Ngozumpa Glacier).
This trek starts from thirty five minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Then after, the adventure really begins. The interaction among the Sherpa community adds beauty to this trek. Along with this trek we wil pass Buddhist monasteries with the views of Everest and other world-famous white - towering mountains. We will have rest in the village of Namche Bazar. After trekking to Gokyo Ri (5350), we return back to Namche and Lukla for our journey back to Kathmandu.
One of the ever-remembering feature of this trek is the view of tremendous ice ridge between the Mt. Choyou and the Mt. Gyanchung which are located in Khumbu region. This trek rally offers a great opportunity to hunch the amazing and ever-lasting nature views. |

Day 02 / Fly to Lukla (2804 mtr.) trek to Phakding (2610 mtr.). Walking 3 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 03 / Phakding to Namche Bazar (3441 mtr.). Walking 6 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 04 / Acclimatization day in Namche Bazar. Overnight at guest house
Day 05 / Namche to Thame (3800 mtr.). Walking 4 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 06 / Thame to Khumjung (3790 mtr.). Walking 5 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 07 / Khumjung to Dole (4040 mtr.). Walking 5 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 08 / Dole to Machhermo (4470 mtr.). Walking 4 ½ hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 09 / Machhermo to Gokyo (4790 mtr.). Walking 5 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 10 / Gokyo to Gokyo Ri (5483 mtr.) and then back to Gokyo. Walking 5 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 11 / Retreat trek to Dole (4040 mtr.). Walking 5 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 12 / Dole to Namche Bazar (3441 mtr.). Walking 5 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 13 / Namche to Lukla (2804 mtr.). Walking 6 hours. Overnight at guest house
Day 14 / Morning flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel on B/B basis
Day 15 / Transfer to Airport for departure from Nepal
