Chitwan National Park
Chitwan national park, the most popular destination for tourists is situated in southern part of Nepal with and area of 932 square kilometers. This is the first famous national park of Nepal in the field of wildlife safaris. In 1973, it was declared as a national park and identified by  UNESCO as a Natural World Heritage Site in 1984 A.D. This  park is a common home for 56 species of mammals such as one=horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, sloth bear, leopard, wild-elephant. Gangetic dolphin, wild bison, Striped hyena and so on. We can, here. find 450 species of birds , 126 species of fish. 590 species of butterflies and 47 species of  reptiles as a verified estimate. A recent study has also shown that one third of Nepal's total population of wild –life creatures is found here.
 The forest is covered by sal, interspersed with tall grasslands, small hills. flood plains and ox-bow lakes. Currently, two jungle safari package are classified, one is outside the park and the other is inside the park . Although it is possible to stay longer as the tourists wish, usually  3 days and 2 nights are spent here.
We can enjoy unique cultural traditions living in hotels  either in inside or outside of the Park.
Time to Visit
You can visit Chitwan National park through out the year but the best season, we recommend you to visit is from October until March,when the temperature inside the National Park is about 25 degree centigrade,perfect and mild.March to June can be boiling hot and July to September can be rainy because it’s the main monsoon season here in Nepal so that some activities can be inaccessible.
How to get there?
There are 3 ways to get into the Chitwan National Park.
By Land :   A pleasant 5 hours journey by car or by bus starting from Kathmandu following the Prithvi highway on the hill ride with the spectacular view of mountains on right and changeable views and landscapes followed by Trishuli river will lead you to plain land Terai and Chitwan National Park.
By Raft :  Do you want to kill two birds with one stone? This adventurous way can be a good solution to fulfill your entire desire. The most exciting way is to get park by rafting down on Trishuli river, can be same day to more days with variety of views along the river bank.
By Air :  If you have time limit it’s the best way to take short flight for about 20 minutes from Kathmandu to Bharatpur will lead to your destination. Where you will be picked up from airport by our staff to the park.
Things to Bring
Binocular, flashlight, sun glass, sun hat and sun cream, swim wear, insect repellent, bright color and clothes should be avoided concerning natural surroundings, warm sweater and jacket for winter season from Nov. to Feb., light shoes for walking, long pant for elephant ride, swiss knife, reading books, etc.
